A Clear Process. Consistent Results. No Surprises.

At INT Wealth Planning, process isn't a buzzword. It's the foundation of everything we do for clients and the reason our relationships work as well as they do.

What to Expect When You Work With INT

Most people hire a financial advisor because they want clarity and someone they can trust to help them make good decisions over time.

Consistency is what makes that trust possible.

At INT, process isn't a philosophy statement. It's how we actually operate. Every client relationship runs through the same intentional framework, the same annual touchpoints, and the same standard of service, regardless of what the markets are doing or where you are in your financial journey.

We've spent years building systems that work. Here's what they look like.

Getting Started

Financial Planning Process Timeline

Discovery

This is a conversation, not a commitment. We start by getting to know each other. What matters to you, how INT works, what to expect from the process, and whether this feels like the right fit. No decisions are made. We follow up within two days.

Meeting

Data Collection & Confirmation

We gather what we need and make sure it's right. If we both decide it's the right fit, the next step is gathering your financial information: account statements, tax returns, insurance policies, and anything else relevant to your situation. Most clients upload everything electronically between meetings. In our second meeting, we walk through it together, verify the details, fill in any gaps, and begin the account transfer process if applicable.

Meeting

Develop Recommendations

The team gets to work. Behind the scenes, we analyze your full financial picture and build a set of initial recommendations tailored to your goals, timeline, and situation.

Deliver Plan

This is where the plan comes to life. We walk through our recommendations and have a real working conversation about priorities, tradeoffs, and what makes sense for you. This is collaborative, not a presentation.

Meeting

Devise Next Steps

Nothing falls through the cracks. We close every planning engagement with a clear action list: what we're doing, what you're doing, and what happens next.

After the Plan Is Built

Becoming a client is the beginning, not the finish line. Here's what the ongoing INT experience looks like year after year.

January: Tax Letter
You receive a tax letter from us outlining the 1099s to expect and notes from the prior year's tax activity. Simple, practical, and designed to make your CPA conversation easier.

Monthly: Rob’s Newsletter
Our newsletter lands in your inbox with insights on planning, taxes, and what's happening in the markets. No filler, no fluff.

Year-Round
We’re available when life happens: a job change, an inheritance, a big decision you want to think through before you make it. You don't have to wait for a scheduled meeting to pick up the phone.

Illustration of INT's financial planning sequence

February - March: Strategic Planning Meeting
Your annual plan review. We update your financial plan, revisit long-term goals, discuss major upcoming expenses, and make sure your investment strategy is aligned with where you are and where you're going.

April: Around Tax Day
We collect your tax return while it's fresh. This becomes the foundation of your fall planning meeting.

October - November: Tax Planning Meeting
With a clear picture of your full year's taxable income, we make tactical recommendations to help reduce your tax burden before December 31st — one of the highest-value parts of the INT process.

This information is not intended to be a substitute for specific individualized tax advice. We suggest that you discuss your specific tax issues with a qualified tax advisor.

THE INTent METHOD

All of this flows through the INTent Method — our framework of 100 specific things we do for clients, organized into seven key areas of your financial life.

It's not a checklist. It's a commitment.
