The INTent Method is our answer. It's the overarching process that guides every client relationship at INT. It’s a comprehensive framework of 100 specific things we do for clients, organized into seven key areas. It's not a checklist. It's a commitment to showing up the same way, every time, with intention.

 Financial Planning
Your plan drives everything.

A financial plan isn't a document you create once and file away. At INT, your plan is a living roadmap that gets updated regularly, stress-tested against real life, and built around what actually matters to you. We start by getting to know you: your goals, your family, your timeline, and what financial freedom means to you specifically. From there, we build a plan designed to pursue those goals with intention and adapt as life changes.

What this may include: goal setting and modeling, retirement income planning, cash flow planning, college funding, estate planning coordination, Social Security optimization, employee benefit review, career transition planning, and more.

Investment Management
Plan-driven, not news-driven.

At INT, investment management starts with your plan and not the other way around. We don't react to headlines or chase performance. We build a disciplined, long-term investment strategy aligned with your goals and your timeline, and we stick to it.

For clients approaching or in retirement, we use a bucketing strategy designed to help limit sequence-of-returns risk. By structuring retirement assets into time-based buckets, we aim to provide stability in the near term while pursuing long-term growth.

We also believe in making sure you understand what's in your portfolio and why. An investment you don't understand is an investment you'll panic-sell at the wrong time.

What this may include: portfolio construction and rebalancing, asset allocation, bucketing strategy, performance reporting, tax-efficient investment options, alternative investments, and access to LPL Research updates.

Tax Planning
Proactive, not reactive.

Tax planning is one of the highest-value things a financial advisor can do for clients, and one of the most overlooked.  Most advisors talk about taxes after the fact. We plan for them before.

Each fall, we hold a dedicated tax planning meeting with clients. Using your most recent tax return and current year income picture, we identify specific strategies that may help reduce your tax burden before the calendar runs out. We use Holistiplan software to model scenarios and bring concrete, actionable recommendations to every meeting.

For charitably inclined clients, we also help ensure giving strategies are aligned with your financial plan so your generosity works as hard as your savings.

What this may include: year-end tax planning, bracket management, tax loss harvesting, Roth conversions, IRMAA analysis, qualified charitable distributions, donor-advised funds, coordination with your CPA, and tax return reviews.

Retirement Planning
So you can stop working when you want to, not when you have to.

Retirement planning at INT goes well beyond picking an account type and a contribution amount. We help you build a complete picture of what retirement looks like for you: when you can realistically stop working, how your income will be structured, what your spending will look like, and how to make your money last.

We use Monte Carlo analysis and retirement income modeling to stress-test your plan against real-world variables so you can move toward retirement with confidence rather than guesswork.

Risk Management
Protect what you've built.

Building wealth is only half the equation. Protecting it is the other half, and it's the piece most people don't think about until something goes wrong. We review your insurance coverage as part of our planning process to make sure you and your family are protected in the areas that matter, without paying for coverage you don't need.

What this may include: life insurance analysis, disability insurance analysis, long-term care analysis, property and casualty review, and health insurance and Medicare guidance.

Estate Planning
Your legacy, on your terms.

Estate planning isn't just for the ultra-wealthy. If you have assets, a family, and wishes for what happens when you're gone, you need a plan. We help you think through what you want, coordinate with estate planning attorneys to make sure the right documents are in place, and ensure your beneficiary designations and account titling actually reflect your intentions.

For charitably inclined clients, we help structure giving that honors your values and works within your financial plan.

What this may include: beneficiary management, document review, coordination with estate planning attorneys, gifting strategies, legacy planning, family meetings, trust and will guidance, and succession planning for business owners.

Value Added Services

Great financial planning isn't just about the technical work. It's about having someone in your corner who shows when it matters: the question before a big decision, the phone call when the market drops.

At INT, we've built a network of professionals we work alongside regularly, including CPAs, estate planning attorneys, and mortgage brokers. When you need a referral, you're getting one from someone we know and trust.

What this may include: CPA and attorney referrals, financial education workshops, family financial coaching, behavioral financial coaching, client appreciation events, and access to Rob and the team for life's important financial decisions.

You are under no obligation to use the services of any of the entities shown, and may choose any qualified professional to provide tax, CPA, or legal services. These entities and their services are not affiliated with LPL Financial and INT Wealth Planning.​

FEES

INT Wealth Planning's fees are based on assets under management. Your account is billed a percentage of its value at the end of each quarter.

We believe this structure aligns our interests with yours. When your accounts grow, we do better too. And as a fiduciary, in an advisory relationship, Rob is required to act in your best interest at all times, regardless of compensation.

For clients who wish to receive ongoing planning services but are unable to move their accounts, a monthly retainer arrangement may be available.
